ikh Naujawan Melbourne , a non-for-profit organisation, looks into the religious and cultural affairs of Sikhs in Victoria.We are made up of volunteers from all walks of life, many are professionals and youth who are simply, people interested in helping their community.These people donate their time and effort into helping young people progress in various ways. The Sikh Naujawan Sabha melbourne realised that there was a lack of understanding in sikhi and its applicability in a modern lifestyle among Victorian in Sikh youths, so the organisation decided organise annual youth camps and cliques to increase the awareness among sikh and create relevance the mind of sikh youths in Victoria.

 

Sikh Naujawan Sabha Melbourne realised that the future success of our community depends on one precious resource – our children. Over the years, Sikh youths have been experiencing a host of problems ranging from addictions to bullying in schools. We aim to enable our children and youth to overcome challenges faced by them with a touch of Sikhism and foster unity in a multicultural  society we live in today. Sikh Naujawan Melbourne works in harmony and alongside various Gurdwara Sahibs and other Sikh organisations locally and internationally.

 

Our core objectives are :

• to promote culture, understanding and philosophy of Sikh way of life among Sikh Youths
• to conduct youth activities not limited to camps, excursions, seminars,and cliniques.
• to create and foster leadership and good citizenship qualities within the Sikh Youth of Victoria
• to guide the new sikh generation in a modern society in coherent relevance of principles and values of Sikhism.
